Q1. Is it mandatory to have an RMA number in order to return a product to oyacomputers.com?

Yes, Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number must be obtained within our Return or Warranty policy period. oyacomputers.com will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RMA number. RMA numbers are valid for 15 days within which oyacomputers.com must receive the returning product(s). RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. The RMA number(s) must be clearly displayed on the shipping label of boxes containing the returned product otherwise shipping will be rejected at sender's expense.

Q2. May I exchange my RMA'd item for a different product?

We do not exchange for different products on items that have already been through RMA because the warranty period has already been partially used. We will replace an item only with the exact same item type, as provided by manufacturer. If the DOA (Dead on arrival) period for the item(s) has not been exceeded, an RMA request for store credit can be requested online and the returning item will be credited once received.

Q3. Is it necessary to return each individual accessory when I send in a return? What should I include with my RMA?

Yes. All original equipment, components, registration card(s), UPCs, manuals, cables, documents, packaging must be returned with your item in order for oyacomputers.com to process your RMA. Any missing items will be charged or deducted from the refund. To avoid processing delays, please send returns by completing the stated criteria. Incomplete or unauthorized returns will be refused. The customer is responsible for any additional damage to an item or loss during shipment to oyacomputers.com

Q4. Would restocking fees be applied for returns?

There is a restocking fee of 15% on all returns, (unless waived by our Customer Support Representative). We are responsible and very willing to replace a defective item purchased from us. In case of defectiveness in product, replacement will be provided. If a return is requested instead of a replacement, a 15% restocking fee will be charged (unless waived by our customer representative).

Q5. Will oyacomputers.com cross-ship replacement merchandise?

oyacomputers will ship out replacements once the defective items have been received and verified. (Unless special arrangements are made with a customer service representive) Our shipping department will ensure the process is as quick as possible.

Q6. If I have my defective items replaced or repaired from a local retail store, would you reimburse the payment to the bill

If you have decided to have your item/PC serviced by another company, we cannot authorize returns or payments to un-affiliated groups. oyacomputers.com will not accept any 3rd party claims or bills. Your defective product must be serviced or replaced by oyacomputers.com's authorized personnel only.

Q7. Who pays for shipping on a defective item?

oyacomputers.com does not cover the full cost of shipping of defective merchandise. Instead, oyacomputers is willing to divide the cost in half. When the defective item is sent back to oyacomputers Receiving, we will ship the repaired/replaced item on the return trip at no charge back to the shipping address specified in your account. Thus, the customer is solely responsible for shipping the returning product to oyacomputers Receiving.

Q8. What is the warranty or return policy with my software purchase?

Due to the ease of media reproduction technology, oyacomputers.com will not accept used or opened software. Software packages that are sealed and shrink-wrapped in box are eligible for exchange or return. OEM software are not eligible for return or exchange due to licensing agreement (certification of authenticity) restrictions which affixes the license specific PCs or users. Please verify what the system requirements are for any software or game that you intend to purchase before the actual purchase.

Q9. How is my order shipped?

We perform shipping every afternoon before 3pm PST. In order to arrange the most effective delivery method, we recommend that order(s) be placed before 12pm PST. oyacomputers.com carefully packages our components to industry standards and ships after inspection. Depending on the order size, we use extra packaging or original packaging (i.e. printers, monitors). We have three shipping options available now:
UPS Standard, UPS Express Saver, UPS Express
We do not provide online order processing or delivery on weekends or Canadian holidays.

Q10. I just placed an order for an item that is out of stock. When will I be charged for it?

You will be charged for a backordered item upon order processing. After your order for an out of stock product is submitted, we will notify you of its anticipated delivery date. Any in stock products from your order will be shipped right away. For items that are backordered, you will receive periodic reminders of back ordered items and you will be given an opportunity to cancel any outstanding back orders with us. In the event the product is unavailable, or if you wish to cancel the back ordered item before it is shipped, you will be issued a refund using the same method of payment you used to place the order, or a credit note. oyacomputers.com will make every attempt to promptly issue refunds, but during busy periods, allow up to 2 to 4 business days for refunds to be processed.
